Lion-O struggles with his destiny to become the next King of Thundera, as chosen by the Sword of Omens. Meanwhile, festivities are held to celebrate General Grune's return to the Cat Kingdom. « read less

After escaping their destroyed city with the Sword of Omens, the team encounters the Fishmen, who sail the quicksand sea in search of a massive sea creature. The ThunderCats’ quest is to find the Book of Omens … but Lion-O is more interested in revenge on Mumm-Ra. « read less

The ThunderCats accompany Panthro to Cloud Peak Mine to search for Thundrilium for the Thundertank. Along the way, Panthro and Grune's past is explored, from their first encounter to the reason behind Grune's betrayal. « read less

Lion-O's soul is transported into the Book of Omens and he sees what life was like in the eyes of his ancestors as they start a rebellion against Mumm-Ra and discovers the origins of the Sword of Omens and the Warstone, which takes on the familiar shape of the Eye of Thundera during the course of events Lion-O is made to experience in his ancestor's body. Lion-O also learns from Jaga that in order to defeat Mumm-Ra, he must first find the remaining three Warstones that are scathered on Third Earth and unify the rest of the animals to create an army. « read less

The ThunderCats meet the mysterious beings who had helped them during the night and they turn out to be the Berbils, or Ro-Bears. The Berbils treat the ThunderCats with great hospitality until the village is attacked and some of the Berbils are captured. The ThunderCats help their new friends and a battle for freedom ensues. « read less

When in the Forest of Magi Oar, the ThunderCats send WilyKit, WilyKat and Snarf to search for firewood. After they return, they start a fire and lay down to rest. Lion-O then throws a special piece of firewood that releases several seemingly evil spirits around them. After Lion-O and the rest of the ThunderCats cannot defeat them, the ThunderCats meet the Wood Forgers who have a talent for using paper magic in combat. « read less

While Lion-O and Tygra are in the Astral Plane dealing with their issues which have been magnified by the powers of Mumm-Ra who wants them to destroy each other, the other Thundercats protect the village from Slithe, Grune and the Lizard army. The Elephants make a surprising decision after meditating and Lion-O realizes the truth of being betrayed by Tygra. Panthro has some interesting flashbacks while telling Wily Kit and Wily Kat how Grune lost his tooth, and in the end Panthro makes a sacrifice to defeat his enemy. « read less

The ThunderCats are ambushed by Slithe who is now assisted by Kaynar and Addicus. When Lion-O is knocked into the river and pinned down by the rocks, he finds himself in the spirit world where Jaga tells him that he must pass a bunch of tests in order to return to the living. The first test taking place in the simulation of Thundera's slums has Lion-O trying to figure out which Wilykit and Wilykat has the key to pass to the next test. The second test has Lion-O having to race Cheetara through a labyrinth. Back in the living, Tygra and the other ThunderCats managed to get free from their shackles, but Slithe, Kaynar, and Addicus escape with the Sword of Omens. Tygra vows to get the Sword of Omens back. « read less

While Lion-O and Tygra were off with the tiger clan adventure, the rest of the crew is keeping an eye on the Thundertank. The twins are looking for some stashed food, but it appears Snarf beat them to the goodies. Panthro and Cheetara decide to use this as an opportunity to teach these two how to survive on their own. « read less
