The show concept must showcase their personality, design point of view and overall skills. And, the remaining finalists must create an amazing room for real homeowners. Along with Genevieve Gorder and Vern Yip, original HGTV Design Star winner David Bromstad will review the shows and award the best designer the grand prize - a contract for his or her own show on HGTV.
